Respect Life Committee
The Respect Life Committee sponsors various fundraisers that support pro-life ministries and gathers during prayerful vigils at local abortion clinics and participates in the annual March for life in Washington D.C. This committee's activities affirm the sanctity of every human life.
All parishoners are invited to participate in fundraisers and vigils, which are advertised in the bulletin.

Assumption participates in the biannual 40 Days for Life Campaign.

Christians
and all who respect life are invited to participate in the national 40
Days for Life effort that runs during Lent, February 22 - April 1.
This
is an ecumenical campaign to end abortion and consists of prayer,
fasting and peaceful vigil.
Kick-off is Sunday, February 19 at 6 p.m.
at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 Sixth Street, Downtown. Bring
your spouse, family and friends.
