Coffee & Donut Social

Please join us on Sunday, January 22, 2012, for a Coffee & Donut Social in McGovern Hall following the 10 a.m. Mass. All newly registered parishoners have been personally invited to attend. Please join us in welcoming them and share in fellowship with our church family. Everyone is welcome.

Used Book Sale - Donations Needed!

Assumption School is seeking donations for a Used Book Sale to be held on February 11-12. We need gently-used adult and children's books, music, DVDs, CDs and computer games. No VHS tapes, please. Drop off your items at the school during regular office hours or at McGovern Hall on January 28 from 8 a.m. - 12 noon. Please do not drop off donations at the Parish Office.

World Marriage Day
All couples are invited to submit photos for the slide show. Photos may be dropped off at the Parish Office in an envelope marked "World Marriage Day." Please include your names, date of wedding, and a telephone number. The photos will be returned to you after they are scanned. Couples that have submitted wedding photos in the past are also welcome to submit current photos.
The deadline for photo submissions is February 5, 2012.

March for Life 2012

The Assumption Respect Life Committee and the Bellevue Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a bus trip to Washington D.C. on Monday, January 23. Seats are $20 and limited financial aid is available. The bus will leave Assumption after the 5:30 a.m. Mass and will return around 11 a.m.

40 Days for Life

Christians and all who respect life are invited to participate in the national 40 Days for Life effort that runs during Lent, February 22 - April 1. This is an ecumenical campaign to end abortion and consists of prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil. Kick-off is Sunday, February 19 at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 Sixth Street, Downtown. Bring your spouse, family and friends. We are looking for any pictures taken at Assumption Church to share on our website. This includes, but is not limited to, pictures from weddings, baptisms, Easter & Christmas, school functions, etc. We are especially interested in any photos showing our church's beautiful and unique architecture and interior. Assumption School

Assumption School offers Catholic education for children in kindergarten (full or 1/2 day option) through grade eight. Assumption School is concerned with the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of each child, and provides an environment of outstanding academics, religious formation, financial assistance, and much, much more.
